Finn receives his first present of the season, and it's a doosie. Mighty Mac! Chris and Mom help out.
But the next gift is even better. Chris custom built for Finn a table for the trains. Just the right height, width, depth and with the appropriate structure to support a growing Finn, the table was soon coined "The Island of Sodor". Finn is shown here lining up the trains on the Island for the first time.
Once the trains were out of their carrying case, it's crazy-go-nuts time as Finn climbs up again and sits in the middle of the island.
Later Finn spots a cake in his honor.
With his name made out in blue M&Ms on the top.
Nice job on the candle blowing.
Chris and Granny cut some slices.
Ooooo this is good. We get the thumbs up from the birthday boy.
Later after we get cake all over our shirt, there is some topless training.
The end.
Finn's other birthday was held at his favorite park (or "play" as he calls it). Jeffrey tries to keep up with Finn who has home field advantage.
Later, Jeff schools Finn in the delicate art of hurling spinning.
Finn prepares a juice box with Janny and Pop.
Skateboard lessons with Finn and Avery. Lesson one, get it off the grass.
Finn and Doobie look like they are up to no good.
Hangin' out.
And then back to the pavilion.
More skateboarding lessons, this time from Granny.
Winnie and Finn chow down.
Jay comes in a little hot on the scooter.
Finn follows with all the other kids in tow. Must be cake time again.
Closeup of Julia and Finn.
Dad with Finn, lurching for cake.
Ahh sweet trains: Murdoch and Emily. It's good to be the Finn™.
Even a two year old can't go for ever. Finn conks out, while the older kids still want their photo taken with him. It's Weekend at Finnies.
