The Week In Finn (August 31, 2006)
Wearing a great shirt Tom picked up in a Soho baby store, Finn body slams poor Mogu (in red). Every month when we take a photo of Finn and Tom in Units, we also take a photo of Finn and Mogu. This was 10 months. The photos started off with the little baby dwarfed by Mogu, but now it's more of a rumble. Stay still Finn!
In a Finn based world, it is very important to note the unFinn moments. Like when Tom and Jenny got to go out to dinner for the first time post Finn.
Scientist Blaxland performs a dental exam on Tom to figure out exactly where his parents went for 4 hours. He suspects they went to dinner...probably Italian.
Suddenly Finn was kicked out of the house to allow Tom and grandfather Chris (shown) to sand back and varnish all the floors. Finn, Jenny and Tom moved in with the Cappie grandparents for two weeks. Oh and Guppie came too! (reow). Note the change in floor color. We kept that lighter color and the rooms now look great.
At Casa di Cappie, Finn explores new hair style options. The day care employees love to spike up his hair and then try and smooth it down before Jenny picks him up at the end of the day.

Two weeks is a decent amount of time to make a buddy. Noah and Finn got on great, especially at meal times when Finn was dropping food down for Noah below. It seems that Noah likes Cheerios almost as much as Finn.
Now that Finn had shared his dinner with Noah, he felt it was OK to use the dog as a step-stool.
Or to pull out his hair in big chunks.
After a few attempts in the bath upstairs, Finn's bathing moved to the kitchen sink. Well one of the three kitchen sinks anyway. Note than when you are choosing a sink for Finn washing, Corian is the only way to go.

Deep in thought, it's Mixmaster Finn. Finn has developed an uncanny knack of mashing up different tune making toys, creating a remix of Old MacDonald for instance with some other tune on top and a beatbox backing. It's wild to watch, and he most likely has a career in music. Wonder where he gets that from?
