Getting to Disney at 5pm, we ride into the park when most others are leaving. The plan is going well.
Suddenly, not realizing he is being taken into a 'wonderland', Finn freaks out and clocks his mother in the face/glasses with a wooden train. We almost turn around right there, but brace ourselves for the meltdown than ensues instead.
Obviously the little boy in the background of this shot knows he is in a wonderland, and can't understand what all the fuss is about. Duuuude...chill.
Finn freaks out all the way down Main Street.
But then Finn spotted the craziest train EVER. And we all know if there is anything Finn loves...it's trains and crazy.
And despite himself, things started to look up when he spotted the really big humpback whale.
By the time we got to the merry-go-round he was all smiles!
So we went to find a train a little less crazy. This one was still pretty crazy, but not Finn-will-fall-off crazy.
Finn and Daddy riding in the caboose of the semi-crazy train.
To be fair to Finn, he was teething at the time.
Next we went looking for some pirate treasure! Ahoy me mateys and all ye salty dogs.
After two giant falls in the boat that Finn's parents had forgotten about since last time they had gone on Pirates of the Caribbean ride (it was the 1980s people) Finn and his mom enjoy a quieter moment...waiting for Johnny Depp to appear.
Finn threw his last binkie in between those two ducks. Guess we'll be visiting the Santa Monica Albertsons on the way home.
A very cool treehouse for Finn to climb.
Across the top on the rope bridge!
Crazy spaceship ride. We'll ride this in our next installment.
As we leave, we spot the signature building Finn knows as the "sand castle" that is at the start of his favorite movie...Cars.
