Finn Blaxland

Finn and Jay (February 26, 2007)

The orange brigade on tour at the maternal grandparents. While Finn finds this particular pose fascinating, we hope he learns that sometimes when the wind changes...

The facial changes are permanent. Oops.

Another lesson to be learned here. Being hugged by Janny may beat being crushed by a large orange ball. Or any ball for that matter. Nice choice Finn.

One weekend Finn and Jay went to check out the holiday electric train exhibit at the Brandywine River Museum which is just down the street from us. Here is an artistic portrait of Finn at that event...

And here is Jay enjoying the same trains. Jay is a bit of a train nut, and loved that Thomas and his buddies were on hand.

The evil smile of calamity about to ensue.

Finn wanders out of the clutches of Jay and his parents, Lisa and Pat.

Unfortunately for local art lovers, the Brandywine River Museum is a serious art gallery specializing in Wyeth paintings...mostly because those guys live up the creek a mile or so. Finn likes Andrew Wyeth, but thinks his son Jamie is a bit of a hack. Shown here are Finn and Jay on the loose in the main galleries. To the shock of previously mentioned serious art lovers.

Again, Finn and Jay, further along their escape route. Finn's looking for the cubist collection.

Post art, Lisa, Finn and Jay enjoy a ride back to home base. Finn looks stoked.

With the christmas tree and a nice collection of toys in the background, Finn is once again entertained by Jay...

And Jay seems keen to explain his theory of global warming. Or is that itsy bitsy spider. They are so similar.

Finn looking mighty scared. Look it's Fonz Holahan!

During the same ride, Finn realizes his dream of sitting closer to the window for the first time.

Jay and Finn get down to some serious Lego action at Radnor HQ with Finn's recently acquired cousin Griff.

In the final ceremony, Finn pats Jay on the head. As is the tribal custom, Finn now owns Jay.

Photography Notes

A mentioned in previous posts, Finn and Jay are pretty good buddies these days. In fact Jay is one of the handful of words Finn can say, and the only name besides Mom, Da and Oscar. He has a friend at daycare called Oscar. Anyhoo, Jay is teaching Finn the lay of the land.
